Topshop finally coming to France?!

I’ve heard this rumour and here I am hoping that is true: Topshop might soon open stores in France (or at least in Paris, for starters!). They almost opened one in 2010 but the project did not work out in the end. They’ve recently added a french version for their online store, which was a first sign. Now they’re teasing us with their press team having meetings in Paris. So could we expect our favorite british brand to finally settle down in France?! Fingers crossed!!

Colette Carnaval

This one is for my Paris people – I’m not in Paris this week-end, exceptionally, I’m so mad already. Whathever. So on saturday and sunday, you should be at the Jardin des Tuileries for the “Colette Carnaval” (yes Colette like the store!). It’s going to be amazing. Stands for everything (fashion, beauty, food), a cinema with old movies, sport sessions with Nike or Repetto, signings with cool people such as Kid Cudy, and so much more. If you didn’t know how to occupy your week-end, I think that you now know ;) Go to their website if you want more infos about it.

Spread the love and have a great colette week-end!

ChloĆ© is all about lace tops, quilted skirts and bright coats!

Yesterday was Chloe’s – one of my favorite brand – 2012-2013 FW show at the Tuileries for PFW. As I love Chloe, I decided to feature some of the looks from the runaway on my blog. I love that they actually used summer-ish colors and patterns. If we actually wear those this fall, we will be so much joyful – dark colors, gloomy weather tend to put us in a bad mood. Bright colors I always refreshing. That’s what I loved more about this show! Pictures credit, as always, goes to ELLE UK.

Spread the love and wear lace even in winter!

Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2012

I wanted to share with you the video of the Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2012 fashion show because I thought it was beautiful. Elie Saab is one of my favorite designers because I think that he makes the most beautiful gowns and this season was no exception. He really didn’t disappoint me. Check out and tell me what you think. You just have to love the colours, the details etc. So dreamy and lovely.

Spread the love and wear a fabulous Elie Saab gown!

Forever21 is finally in Paris. Which reminds me …

This is such a good news: Forever21 is finally opening its first store in France, in a mall not far from Paris. I’m very excited about that and cannot wait to go shopping there. I will probably go next week if I find time.

Anyway, that gets me to another (but related) topic which is that affordable stores rock. I see a lot of bloggers wearing only designers brand and it’s so hard to copy their style sometimes. It makes sense, because sometimes they earn quite a lot of money or brands offer them clothes. But not all of us can afford these designer brands.

Which is why I love brands like Forever21 or even Zara, which is a little more expensive but still very affordable. I want you all to realize that it’s ok not to wear Chanel or ChloĆ©. You can still have a wonderful style with very cheap pieces. Actually, you can find unique amazing pieces for practically nothing. I think that even if I was super rich and could afford designer brands, I would still shop in those affordable stores because they happen to have super great stuff too. And why spending thousands of dollars on something you are only going to wear a few times, right?!

So that’s it. I just wanted to ‘thank’ those brands that make fashion affordable and express how happy I am that Forever21 opened in Paris. Even though they have horrible, cheap clothes most of the time, you can also find pretty awesome stuff!

Spread the love and buy affordable clothes!
